It will be granted regardless of the income of the holding concerned, but only for 1 period of service. Hence, parents request to remember to complete the formalities again. When do you gotta submit a fresh application for 800+? The timing of the referral may be of large importance
The service period of 2025/2026 began on 1 June 2025 and will last until 31 May 2026. The fresh 1 will start on June 1, 2026, but applications can be submitted much earlier. The Social Insurance Institution will start accepting them on 1 February. It is worth taking advantage of this chance as shortly as possible. The Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy recalls that the minute of submitting the application will influence the receipt of money in the fresh period of delivery.
Applications submitted from 1 February to 30 April are a warrant of receiving money until 30 June. This means that the continuity of benefits payments will be maintained.
Those applying from 1 to 31 May will receive money until 31 July with compensation for June.
Those applying from 1 to 30 June will receive money until 31 August with compensation for June and July.
The application for a fresh period after 30 June will mean that the benefit will be granted from the period of application. ZUS will retreat the money within 3 months of that date.
Applications for services can only be submitted via the net via the PUE/eZUS platform or the mZUS mobile application, the information and services portal Emp@tia, or electronic banking. The benefit shall only be paid in non-cash form to the bank account indicated in the application. However, is it possible that in 2026 families will get more than 800 PLN?

The educational benefit was initially PLN 500. This amount has been increased to PLN 800 since January 1, 2024. However, the question of its valorisation is inactive raised in the discussions. The portal forsal.pl reminds that this subject was included in the program presented during the "Thinking Poland" convention in Katowice. It took place on October 24 and 25, 2025. The PiS proposed to increase 800 plus depending on the number of children and yearly valorisation by a circumstantial indicator, e.g. in relation to the minimum or average wage. For now, however, it is not known erstwhile a task in this case may go to the Sejm. This may be part of the electoral run before the 2027 elections.
