There's nothing to halt a fresh mobile telephone charge coming into force. Who's gonna pay her?

From 13 November 2026, the reprographic fee will be charged, among others, mobile phones, tablets, computers, and even TVs and decoders with built-in memory. For most of these devices, the rate will be 1% of the net sales price. The Ombudsman asks about the appropriateness of introducing a fresh charge. Ministry of Culture and National Heritage responds.
