A group of 800 erstwhile Shin Bet peculiar services operatives called on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and defence Minister Joaw Galant on Sunday to drop draft changes to the judiciary, informing that the government posed a “clear and imminent threat” to Israel's security. The group published the letter under the name “Shin Bet Veterans in defence of Democracy.”
