This evening, the Sejm dismissed associate of the Civic Coalition Marcin Józefaciuk from the Committee on Education, discipline and Youth. 228 Members against 179 voted against, 21 abstained. The tattooed MP from Łódź was the only 1 in the club to vote against.
The decision by the Sejm to dismiss Józefaciuk is not surprising. The MP, better known for his tattoos and self-promotion in social media than for his substantive parliamentary work, has long been controversial among fellow Citizens' Coalition.
The evening vote was so a formal confirmation that there was no longer area in the structures of the parliamentary commission for Joseph. Paradoxically, himself curious in being the only 1 at the club KO attempted to save his own position, voting against a decision that had already been decided.
As a sign of protest, a homosexual teacher resigned from membership of the civilian Coalition Parliamentary Club.
