President Lech Kaczyński Award
The Polish president Lech Kaczyński Award is the authoritative award established in 2011, by the organizers of the Polish large task Congress. It is awarded to prominent Polish creators whose works contribute to a better cognition and knowing of the history, tradition and modernity of our country.
From 2011 to 2015, the award took the form of a statue titled “Lingening” by an outstanding sculptor, a typical of the art of the earth, Teresa Murak. The bronze sculpture refers to the fiery diamond, a figure found in early Christianity. The statue is, as her author emphasizes, an effort to capture the metabolism into spiritual energy.
Since 2016, the award symbolizes the eleventh-dimension geometric figure by an outstanding creator, cartoonist, artist and phase designer, Mr Janusz Kapusta.
