Looking at the future,
whose contours are intricate,
to Emmaus I'm getting close,
to remainder there for a while.
Try to re-assemble
life plans,
or old fold ab ovo,
with hope without cover.
When On the Way Stranger
joins the journey,
we have conversations with each another –
and wise His guidance.
And then, at supper,
The veil falls out of your eyes,
I'm starting to believe again.
And in the heart, peace again.
And I have the strength to come back,
Where I was sneaking distant from,
It's time to leave with Emmaus,
To be a witness to the Resurrection...
