1320 soldiers took a military oath in Warsaw on Saturday. These are subjects who in a fewer days will begin their studies at 4 universities: the Military method Academy, the Army Academy, the Military Aviation Academy and the Naval Academy. After graduation they will be promoted to officers of the Polish Army and will power units of all types of armed forces.
– A soldier who swears a military oath swears that he will faithfully service and defend the Republic of Poland. He declares that he is willing to sacrifice everything for her in the minute of trial, if necessary," said Brig-Gen Prof. Prof. Prof. Dr. Inż. Przemysław Wachulak, Rector-Commander of the Military method Academy. Today, a 1320 oath of 4 military academies was held at the university's capital appeal square. Soldiers of the Academy of the Land Army (more specifically the College of Military-Lekarski, Medical University of Łódź), the Aviation Military Academy and the Naval Academy, spoke to the hosts of the oath. In a fewer days, everyone will start learning, whose final consequence will be promotion to officers of the Polish Army. “At this elevated moment, you begin a service based on the highest values, specified as honor, work for your country and love of your homeland,” said the Rector-Commander of WAT.
Traditionally, a military oath is simply a celebration not only of the soldiers making it, but besides of their loved ones. Families and friends of future officers gathered crowdly present at the Military method Academy. – It is thanks to you, too, that your daughters and your sons show large maturity today, assuming work for the safety of our homeland. They are taking a hard but rewarding way in the service of the Republic of Poland – the general addressed them.
The guest of the ceremony present was Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish. – On behalf of the Republic of Poland, I would like to thank you all for joining the Polish Army and for taking an oath today. Poland is arrogant of you and is very grateful. Take care of the honor of the Polish Army, for the honor of each of you, for the banners that stand among you present proudly and wave," said the head of the MON. The minister besides presented the distinctions to those who received the highest results during basic training and presented a model attitude.
– I am incredibly arrogant and very moved," said Paula's mother, 1 of the distinguished subjects of the Naval Academy, just after the celebration. I can't wait to see my daughter. I haven't seen her in a period due to the fact that She was in training. She added. After the oath, soldiers gave up their weapons and could start celebrating with their loved ones. The Military method Academy has prepared points with hot military peas for this occasion. Participants of the ceremony besides had the chance to visit promotional points, watch military equipment and learn more about career opportunities in the Polish Army.
Students accepted for military studies in the academic year 2024/2025 will begin military service on the basis of the rules introduced by the Homeland Defence Act. Education in the first year of survey will be carried out as soldiers of voluntary essential military service, and from the second year they will gain the position of professional soldiers.
