First, basic training, then specialised in communication or ground peculiar activities, and after they have completed their service in the professional corps. The recruitment starts for voluntary service held in 2 training centers: Communications and Computer discipline in Zegrz and peculiar Forces in Krakow. The curious parties have until October to submit documents.
Receipt voluntary essential military service is the most common choice of those civilians who want to join the professional army and service in the professional private corps. To begin, they undergo 27-day basic training. Then, if they want to proceed their ministry, they get specialist training offered by the military. Only after his graduation can they apply for a professional army.
However, civilians wishing to become privates may besides benefit from another military offer. This is simply a voluntary service organized on peculiar tours at training centers. According to the decision of the Ministry of Defence, next year it will be able to participate in a full of 80 volunteers. At the Centre for Communication and Information Technology Training, 35 candidates for soldiers will be trained in the specialization of the operation of communication systems. The second one, the peculiar Forces Training Centre in Krakow, prepared 45 seats for volunteers. Here, candidates will be trained in the field of land peculiar actions.
Requirements and deadlines
According to the representatives of the MON, this form of training differs somewhat from the voluntary essential military service, which civilian volunteers carry out, for example, in military units. – First of all, specified a candidate knows at erstwhile what direction he will be trained in, due to the fact that from the very beginning the scope of specialist training is strictly defined. Secondly, the individual accepted for training automatically becomes a candidate for a professional soldier – explained representatives of the Ministry of Defence.
Due to the specificity of the training, peculiar requirements are besides imposed on candidates. In addition to the condition of completing at least primary school, mediate school or primary vocational school, directional education and qualifications closely related to the corps and personnel groups in which the future ranks will be trained are preferred. Their list of MONs is due to be given soon.
Persons curious in training must submit an application at any time military recruitment centre. The application shall be accompanied, inter alia, by a certificate of completion of the school, a declaration of non-criminality, as well as papers proving the qualifications or skills held. Volunteers planning training in Zegrzu must do so by 4 October 2024, and those who want to train in Krakow – by 18 October 2024.
Service among specialists
Admission to the training will be decided by the results of the recruitment procedure, including an analysis of the grades on the graduation certificate, physical fitness test and interview. Persons qualified will be appointed to a voluntary essential military service, which will cover 27-day basic training and specialised training lasting up to 11 months, depending on the training programme of the centre and group concerned. Graduates of training in Zegrz, already as professionals, will power ranks, among others. Warsaw garrison command (five people), Cyberspace defence Army Command (20) and Headquarters of the Chief Military Police (10) 45 people after training in Kraków will be assigned to the service Special Forces Component Command.
Until 2022, training for civilian candidates for the professional corps was conducted exclusively at the peculiar Forces Training Centre in Krakow. In 2022, recruitment for equivalent forms of education was announced besides in 5 another training centers: Communications and Information Technology in Zegrz, Land Forces in Poznań, Artillery and Armoured in Toruń, Logistics in Grudziądz, Air Force in Koszalin. In total, they offered volunteers 200 seats. Last year recruitment was conducted to centres in Kraków and Zegrzuwhich together offered 139 seats.
