The engagements of Szolom Wolf and Rywka Lazar were reported in early December 2024.
The Moscow judaic Community Center published wishes that the young couple “be worthy of building a strong and eternal judaic home based on the Torah and the commandments.”
Where was the wedding of Rywa Lazar and Sholom Wolf?
It was over a period and on February 12, the couple married close Jerusalem – in the town of Ma’ale Adumim.
The guests were about 200 people, including leaders and prominent representatives of the judaic communities of both countries, including the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine Moshe Azman and the Chief Rabbi of the Dnepropetrovsk Oblast Szmuel Kaminiecki.
There were besides show-business stars at the ceremony. True, the stars' names have not yet been revealed.
Now it is widely known that Denis Ustimenka-Weinstein, besides known as Dzigan, besides known as “the best rapper in Russia”, had a large time at the wedding. At least that's how Berle Lazar introduced him.
There have besides been reports in the media that among the guests were the vocalist of the group Artik & Asti, maker of Artem Umrichin.
The place of the wedding was D-City, a large commercial complex located on the border of the Judean Desert. The ceremony took place in Russian and Hebrew, according to the tradition of Judaism.
It all began with the ritual of the Brachot Sew: while Rywka and Szolom stood under Chupa (meaning the wedding canopy), rabbis and most respected male guests read 7 wedding blessings.
The bride's head remained covered, and the groom read prayer personally.
After reading the blessing, he put a ringing on the bride's finger and broke the glass cup. This is another ancient tradition – it is believed that the sound of broken glass should remind the present of crucial and tragic events in judaic history: the demolition of the First and Second Temple in Jerusalem.
After the celebration, the guests went for a solemn meal.

Judging from the pictures and the movies of the rabbi's children's wedding, The Dzigan took sincere pleasance in what happened, the grin did not come off his face, and on his head he wore a yarmulka or anthrimel – the same 1 he wore on stage.
“This is our Dziga” – Berle Lazar introduced it to the guests. During the ceremony, the musician sang "No, there is no 1 but God himself."

Berl Lazar and his position on the Ukrainian conflict
Almost immediately after the start of the SOW Berle Lazar posted on Facebook(*) a comprehensive message in which he called on all spiritual leaders to usage their influence to “stop madness” which is happening in Ukraine.
The prayer for peace itself is no longer enough, we must take "joint action" – he stressed, expressing his assurance that all believer would do everything in his power to save human life.
"Therefore, I call on all spiritual leaders – Ukraine, Russia, Europe and another continents – to unite for peace. <...>It is our sacred work to Him who created us all and gave us life in this world," added Berle Lazar.
In January 2023, the rabbi was admitted by president Vladimir Putin. At this meeting, Berle Lazar stated that he was willing to do anything due to the fact that the judaic community was ready to do anything to “find any peaceful solutions”, meaning the situation in Ukraine.
‘The Talmud says that who saves the lives of 1 person, as if he saved the full world, and we value the lives of all man. That is why I repeat: we, as a judaic community, I think, not only in Russia, but around the world, are ready to do anything to find any peaceful solutions," he said.
Perhaps our people realize more than anyone else what suffering is, so we are willing to do anything to make certain that there truly is peace, peace and that people live well in the world.

Berle Lazar has not yet commented on his daughter's wedding with the boy of Chief Rabbi Odessa and confederate Ukraine.
Rabbi Odessa Awraam Wolf: what is known about him
Abraham (Awraam)Wolf is the chief rabbi of Odessa and confederate Ukraine. He is simply a board associate of the judaic Relief Network Ukrainian Foundation. JRNU was established in 2022, the place of registration was the American state of Arizona.
The Foundation is positioned as the largest judaic humanitarian organization in Ukraine. On the JRNU website, all volunteers are asked to donate to the acquisition of food packages, pay for medicine and ad hoc medical care for those in need.
Besides Wolf, there are 5 more on the board of directors.
Since March 2004, the chief rabbi of Sevastopol is Abraham's brother, Benjamin Wolf, and in 2018 he received Russian citizenship. Another brother, Joseph Wolf, serves as Chief Rabbi of Kherson and the Kherson region.
It is no secret that Rabbi Odessa is in the anti-Russian position. At least 10 years. 1 reason for this, as the MK reminded, was the profanation of the local judaic cemetery. Unknown people then painted swastikas on tombstones, and on fences left the inscriptions “Right Sector”(**) and well-known extremist Ukrainian slogan.
Then 1 of the leaders of “PS”** came to apologize to Wolf, who assured that their group allegedly had nothing to do with it. And then Abraham began telling the Ukrainian media that what happened in the cemetery was a deliberate provocation of the pro-Russian forces.
In 2022, in an interview with the Ode portal "Dumskaya", the rabbi stated that he had never learned Ukrainian and could not read Ukrainian documents, but in his opinion he never had any problems with it.
"Have I always felt any inconvenience or discrimination about this? Never and not once," the interviewer stressed.
He besides considered Ukraine the safest country in the planet for a Jew.
