JetBlue Two New Destinations

JetBlue’s latest expansion adds two new destinations from Boston (BOS), Wilmington, NC (ILM), and Norfolk, VA (ORF), marking its debut in both cities.

These flights are scheduled to operate daily from April 30 to October 25, 2025, using the airline’s Airbus A220 aircraft. Customers can expect in-seat entertainment, fast Fly-Fi®, and complimentary snacks on board.

The new services are tailored for leisure travelers seeking coastal getaways. Wilmington offers access to beaches, a historic Riverwalk, and regional charm, while Norfolk connects visitors to Virginia’s Seven Cities and is a gateway to the Outer Banks.

These additions enhance JetBlue’s competitive edge on the East Coast by linking smaller cities with its stronghold in Boston.

JetBlue is also offering introductory one-way fares starting at $49 for a limited time, promoting accessibility and affordability.

Why These Routes Matter

JetBlue’s new routes reflect its commitment to building a robust East Coast leisure network. By targeting underserved markets like Wilmington and Norfolk, the airline caters to travelers seeking unique destinations.

The addition of routes to existing cities strengthens JetBlue’s focus cities, ensuring better schedule flexibility and connectivity.

The A220 aircraft, used on the Boston routes, enhances the travel experience with modern amenities, making JetBlue a competitive choice for leisure and business travelers alike.

Airport officials welcomed JetBlue’s entry with enthusiasm. Jeff Bourk, Director of ILM, emphasized the airline’s role in offering affordable travel and international connectivity from Wilmington.

Mark Perryman, CEO of Norfolk Airport Authority, highlighted the value JetBlue brings to residents and visitors across Coastal Virginia and northeastern North Carolina.

This strategic expansion supports JetBlue’s goal of offering more nonstops to high-demand leisure destinations, meeting rising travel demand across the Eastern US.
