On Wednesday afternoon Donald Trump reported that he had completed a telephone conversation with Volodymyr Zelenski, which lasted about an hour. As the president of the United States pointed out, this was a “good conversation”.
"A large part of the discussion was based on yesterday's conversation with president Putin, whose aim was to adapt Russia and Ukraine in terms of their requests and needs," he announced via social media.
According to Trump, the conversation was promising and is simply a confirmation that the countries are on their way to achieving peace. "We are on the right track, and I will ask the Secretary of State Marco Rubio and national safety advisor Michael Waltz for an accurate description of the points discussed (at the time of the telephone call – ed.). This message will shortly be published," wrote the president of the United States.
