I am terrified of what happens to Poland.

More and more often, I feel that part of our society lives in a constant request to have an enemy — individual to hate, to blame for everything difficult, incomprehensible, painful. And this is not just about stadium "kiboli". For me, “kibol” is anyone who consciously gives a voice to nationalists, xenophobics, and chauvinists — people who preach hatred slogans, who are blinded by God and patriotism.

They're bad people. No substance how frequently they say the word “God”, their hearts overflow with contempt, violence, and the desire to share. These are bad people due to the fact that they talk about love for their homeland, about patriotism, and they spread hatred towards anyone who's different, who doesn't look like them. They spread nationalism.

I besides have a large regret for the Church.

There are so many beautiful words in the Gospel — love, forgiveness, mercy. But besides many clergymen repeat them without reflection, like empty formulas. More and more they join those who sow evil and division. They're quiet erstwhile you gotta talk. They say no erstwhile they gotta protest.

And those clergymen who preach God’s Word with their hearts are criticized, silenced, or pretended not to exist.

The faithful all the more accept the Gospel’s words as good quotes — touching but meaningless to their lives, choices, and deeds. And so the ellipse of evil closes and grows.
