It's National Education Day. Why “national”? Does this mean that children request to learn that being Polish is better than being German or another Negro?
Some usage the word “Teacher's Day”. However, I have doubts whether the “teacher” and “national education” mean the same? Education is not just teachers, however. It is besides the media, they are besides parents, it is besides the Minister of Finance and even the Prime Minister.
Looking at last year, 2 school issues were actually the most important: religion and wellness education.
Not math, not physics, not biology, not even past or literature. That's why I'm pissed off. We are wasting time on stupid discussions about religion (should be deleted in public schools) and wellness education (should be mandatory in all schools), alternatively of dealing with the disaster of the level of teaching much more crucial subjects.
