
According to the latest SW investigation poll, most of the respondents are in favour of Simon Marshal leaving the post of talker of the Sejm. According to the coalition agreement, he is to resign from his post in November of this year.
Szymon Holovnia has served as talker of the Sejm since November 2023 and as agreed, his two-year word of office will pass at the end of this year. His place is to be taken by Vladimir Czarzasty.
The subject of the future of Holowna was raised in the SW investigation poll for “Rzeczpospolita”. According to 51.4% of respondents, Holownia should leave, only 20.7% were against it, while 27.9% did not have an opinion on it.
The Blurred Future of Holown
Piotr Zimolzak of SW investigation noted that changes are mainly supported by people with higher education and income exceeding PLN 7,000 net. In this group, the most votes appeared regarding the marshal's departure.
At this point, it is not known what the future of Holownia will be after it resigns. The only coalition party, i.e. Poland 2050 will be the same without the deputy prime minister. Currently, this group is having problem crossing the electoral threshold.
