After years of expectations and a series of postponements of the beginning dates, the large Egyptian Museum (Grand Egyptian Museum, GEM) at the ft of the Giza pyramids is to be officially opened on 1 November. The information was announced by Egypt's Prime Minister, Mustaf Madbula.
