It was to be a modern and environmentally friendly fuel that would aid reduce emissions and replace conventional coal furnaces. Today, however, the rising price of pellets makes many of those who have put biomass on boilers look for cheaper alternatives. More and more frequently the choice falls on a briquette from sunflower shell, which, according to the branch service KB.pl, is rapidly gaining popularity in Poland. Although it tempts lower prices and good productivity, it is not a limitless solution.
