In the Communication, the Polish Air Navigation Agency stated that at the request of the Operations Command of the Armed Forces Types from 10 September from 22.00 to 9 December until 23.59 p.m., there is simply a regulation of air traffic in the east part of Poland in the form of restricted region EP R129.
Air traffic in east Poland limited
It was stressed that from sunset to sunrise there is simply a full ban on flights in the EP region R129 but for military aircraft. In addition, the region has a 24-hour ban on unmanned civilian flights.
The PAŻP besides showed graphics with the EP R129, which covers the full border with Belarus and Ukraine.
Let us remind that in connection with the breach of the Polish airspace by Russian drones an immediate decision was taken on the operation of airports in our country. For respective hours Warsaw-Chopin, Modlin, Rzeszów-Jasionka and Lublin airport were closed. Then they returned to average functioning.
