Jeju Air Plane Crash

The Jeju Air flight 7C2216, operating from Bangkok to Muan, South Korea, tragically crashed while attempting a belly landing at Muan International Airport, approximately 288 kilometers from Seoul.

The Boeing 737-800, registered HL8088, veered off the runway, collided with a fence, and burst into flames. Onboard the aircraft were 175 passengers and six crew members, with 85 fatalities confirmed so far. In a separate and similarly tragic incident, an Azerbaijan Airlines (J2) Embraer 190 carrying 67 people crashed near Aktau. Authorities confirmed 29 survivors, while the remaining 38 individuals died.
