He feels obliged to express my opposition to the universal approval of the persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (formerly the Moscow Patriarchate) in our east neighbour. I do this from the position of a man outside this Church, an unreligious man and a completely secular man.
For years, declarations of respect for religion and ecumenism have been pouring out from the ether of radio and tv channels. As it turns out present it was a simple slogan, without any anchor. For many years Polish bishops, priests, Catholic authorities in the 3rd Polish Republic spoke about how unacceptable the interference of the authorities and persecution of the Church in People's Poland was. They referred to the words of the Primate Stefan Wyszynski and Pope John Paul II. They were absolutely right in this regard. It is unacceptable to persecute people for their faith.
Today I perceive to radio and television, and in them Catholic authorities. I read rather carefully the messages of the Catholic Information Agency and texts on portals related to the Catholic Church (Niedziela, Sunday, Weekly, Opoka) concerning actions directed against the Moscow Patriarchate Church in Ukraine. I besides read comments from people whose profiles are adorned with many spiritual motives.
The Superior of the Pecherska Lavry Paul by decision of the Ukrainian court was arrested for 2 months (a ban on leaving the apartment) and was banned from communicating with the faithful, “Ukrainian Częstochowa” evicted, successive priests with allegations of “spying”. publically and without shame he ridicules people who believe and practice in Ukraine. In December 2022 European organization politicians Solidarity submitted a draft law on the ban on UCP activities in Ukraine to the ultimate Council of Ukraine.
Catholics in Poland rejoice that people who believe in God, in Jesus Christ, in the parent of God are persecuted! They congratulate those who organize precisely the same orgies of hatred as nihilists under the cross in Krakowskie Przedmieście. The only difference is that the object of hatred is not the Roman Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church. It's not criticism, it's hate! After all, opposition to actions against the Church is not the same as support for war. More, many Ukrainian Catholics, including clergymen, were against this war. Nobody wonders what will happen to the millions of Ukrainian Orthodox Christians, what will happen to respective 1000 Orthodox priests, what will happen to respective 1000 monasteries and parishes.
I find it hard to put in words the boundless folly of these people. Do not those Polish, most Catholics see that the action is not truly directed against the Moscow Patriarchate Church, but against the Church, religion and tradition. Do they not truly see that the full hucpa is doing the same people and centres that had previously attacked the Roman Catholic Church under the pretext of mirroring or pedophilia? Just as today, in a fewer years they will destruct the Roman Catholic Church in Poland. Then remember your silence and permission.
Those Catholics forgot about “The Message to the Peoples of Poland and Russia” president of the Polish Episcopal Conference Archbishop Joseph Michalik and the Metropolitan of Przemysl and the Head of the Russian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarch and the full of Russia Cyril I. They forgot the decalogue. Apparently, present the fresh doctrine of Kaczyński is in force in the Church, which applauded the humiliation Archbishop Stanisław Wielgus, through Styrofoam dintojra. I remember how he rejoiced erstwhile the fat prevented Stanisław Wielgus from taking over the office of Archbishop of the Warsaw Metropolitan.
