Jastrzeżski: More about Leszek Miller

myslpolska.info 1 month ago

His colleague Ronald Lasecki referred very critically to the interview which was given by Prime Minister Leszek Miller editor Agnieszka Wołk-Łanewska in “NIE” Week. In his text, he referred respective times to my text "Leszek Miller Superstar". Let me tell you how I see it.

Lasecki's colleague stated that I was melting distant with an interview of the erstwhile Prime Minister. I gotta agree with that. I am indeed bewitched by Leszek Miller's attitude and current views. This is mainly due to the fact that he is Leszek Miller. If anyone else presented specified a squad of positions, it wouldn't substance much. So it's mostly about who says it, not what's said.

Leszek Miller is the first politician of this rank to talk publically about the unhealed wound that is the case of Ukrainian murders on the Polish population from 1939 to 1947. Leszek Miller is the first politician of this class in Poland, clearly speaking about the divergent interests of Poland and Ukraine. This erstwhile SLD-owski Prime Minister as 1 of the fewer opposes the senseless rusophobia that harms our nation. Miller clearly says that Ukrainians do not fight for Poland and it is not Poland that should finance their war. Finally, Leszek Miller draws the public's attention to the fact that in Polish politics there are open lobbyists of non-Polish interests.

Indeed, I respect Leszek Miller as a stateman, and more importantly, as realistic. In 1999, I organized demonstrations against our country's entry into NATO. Before 2014, I was powerfully active in the Non-EU project. To the point that I became a typical of this association before the referendum on the accession of our country to the European Union. I spent quite a few my life sleeping in my office, traveling hundreds of miles, and failing many individual things. I think I was right about the long-term effects of our presence in the European Union. But what does that mean? Moral right?

Poland was in specified a geopolitical strategy and had a society so focused that no viable alternate to the EU existed. And even if there was a chance to postpone our entry into the European Union, thanks to the attitude of Pope John Paul II and the Polish Episcopate, this was lost. Regardless of our – among another things, Kolega and my – engagement Poland would be in the European Union either way. At the time, I couldn't reconcile my interior disagreement with reality. Even though I already knew the writings of Dmowski, Piasecki and Bochenski there was a spirit of romanticism inside me. specified endecki, but inactive romantic. In retrospect, I must admit the right of those who spoke – we had to fight for better conditions, not argue the inevitable.

I besides gotta agree with my colleague that Leszek Miller in the way the planet was perceived is close to how General Wojciech Jaruzelski saw it. I don't think they were both sincere communists. It combines these characters of patriotism and willingness to act, for the sake of its country regardless of circumstances. There is no uncertainty that realism besides unites them. General Jaruzelski was an endek in his youth. Leszek Miller had nothing to do with the Endeck tradition. However, it is Leszek Miller who is closer to an early end present than many politicians who call themselves that. Let us not anticipate politicians of another political orientations to usage the same conceptual camera as our environment.

The mentioned gathering of General Jaruzelski with Rockefeller resulted from global processes, and akin processes caused the gathering of Prime Minister Miller with Kuklinski. I am profoundly convinced that it was the Americans who pressed Miller to meet Kuklinski. I cannot believe that the dream of the erstwhile Prime Minister was to drink coffee with the man who betrayed Poland.

I know that many extremist colleagues expected people of the People's Poland to follow the way of Romania's leader Nicolae Ceaușescu. But let us look at Romania today. Did Romania, through the unbreakable attitude of the then leader, avoid the theft called privatization? Is it in a geopolitical strategy another than Poland? Is Romania outside NATO and the European Union? Is what we truly request is another dead body that's good for banners?

I cannot agree with a colleague who places Leszek Miller among the uncritical supporters of Brussels politics. Leszek Miller present clearly stresses the differences of interests of Poland and the caste ruling the European Union. He was the first 1 from mainstream to draw attention to senseless muscle tensions and to turn Brussels into a war office aimed at confronting the Russian Federation. It is he, too, who, contrary to his environment, is able to mock the ideas of Brusselsers, expressed, among another things, in rejecting an amendment saying that "only a biological female can get pregnant and have a baby".

I besides keep my thesis on Prime Minister Leszek Miller's superiority over Euro MP Grzegorz Braun. Both Braun and Miller had a different view of many fundamental issues in the past. Today, both politicians say practically the same thing about Ukraine. I agree with what they say. Although they say the same thing, it is in very different ways.

Only Leszek Miller can scope “normals”. due to the fact that the group of rather peculiar views of non-Ukrainian Grzegorz Braun is unacceptable by the average Pole. It must be a real surprise to many of my friends that Grzegorz Braun believes that there is not adequate evidence to talk about gas chambers in the erstwhile German camp of the death of Auschwitz Concentration Camp, and the unification believes that there is many evidence that the parent of Jesus Christ appeared in Gietrzwald in 1877.

Over the years, mainstream media has made Leszek Miller widely regarded as a serious political analyst, commentator and politician. There are no compromising or widely regarded as harsh by large media statements by Leszek Miller, which could compromise him in front of the public. Thus Leszek Miller has become dangerous to those who make our reality. In my opinion, Prime Minister Miller, unlike MEP Braun, reaches a much wider audience with a message.

Which brings us to the different perceptions of Prime Minister Leszek Miller between us. In my opinion, this is due to the fact that my colleague Ronald Lasecki describes himself as an anti-system man, and I am not an anti-systemist. More than that, I don't truly realize what the anti-system is and what its objectives are. If this is the Polish equivalent of the U.S. QAnon movement, I want nothing to do with it. It is simply a congregation of contradictions, which unites only and only uncritical acceptance of all conspiracy theories.

Thinking about specified a movement reminds me of Roman Dmowski's words: “I consider it very useful to think from time to time about what I would do if I were an enemy of Poland, if it were inconvenient for me to rebuild Poland and if I meant to destruct it. First of all, I would usage all effort and I would not regret any sacrifices to prevent the regulation of common sense in this country, so that the conduct of Poles does not begin to direct a sober assessment of relations and the position of their country. I would keep in Poland at my expense legions of people, whose business would be to spread confusion of concepts, to run the most varied lies, to bring out the most crazy ideas. Whenever I noticed that Poles were beginning to see clearly their position and to get on the road to the repair of relations and to the strengthening of the state, I would immediately do anything to distract them in a different direction, to exposure them to fresh ideas, fresh plans, to make a fresh movement in which a healthy thought would drown.”

I want a change too. But I am not an anti-systemist, national-radical or revolutionary. I'm an endek. I believe that even those far-reaching changes should be evolutionary through education and democratic elections. I believe that the people of the erstwhile mainstream may turn out to be those who are life-saving wheels for their people. The Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is simply a good example here. In the past, he was a fellow scholarship holder of the Western Foundation, and even in a nutshell he was a man of George Soros. So what? present he is the 1 who understands the time, place and truly blocks the push of Hungary, and what about another countries of the region to war with Russia. In a nutshell, he's Donald Trump's man.

I know that 1 will scream – but Ukraine and the another – but Palestine. The 1976 primate Stefan Wyszyński said: “Let us not look to all sides. Let us not want to feed the full world, let us not want to save everyone. Let us look to the native land... Let us want to aid our brothers, to feed Polish children, to service them, and here, first of all, to fulfill our task – in order not to succumb to the temptation to “save the world” at the expense of our homeland... He must strengthen his homeland, and erstwhile he does, he will think of others, neighbors. Unfortunately, things are a small different with us – the full planet is saved at the expense of Poland. This is simply a distortion of social order, which must be repaired all breath, if our Homeland is to last in peace, in compatible coexistence and cooperation, if it is to attain the desired economical order. It is unfortunate to take care of the full planet at the expense of your homeland.”

Ronald Lasecki wrote that he was able to imagine the return of Leszek Miller only erstwhile Russia took Poland. It is apparent that the Russian Federation does not intend to occupy Poland. The erstwhile Prime Minister is not a russophobe, but to the least degree he is not Vladimir Putin's man. Leszek Miller anchored Poland in the Euro-Atlantic system. I disagree with that assessment. Leszek Miller could go back to the Polish political scene.

Leszek Miller could be a Polish Viktor Orban. erstwhile Prime Minister of Poland. A sovereign from the mainstream party. A man without senseless rusophobia. A politician acceptable to most people. And finally, a politician who, due to his past, could easy get along with U.S. president Donald Trump. The Polish version of Trumpism would be much more digestible to me if it had the face of erstwhile Prime Minister Miller and possibly Mentzen than Tarczyński, Jako and Matecki.
