** Representatives of the nipponese and Philippines governments have signed a key paper by which both states undertake to grow military cooperation and implement joint military manoeuvres**. The common Access Agreement was initialled by Philippine Secretary of defence Gilberto Teodoro and nipponese abroad Minister Yoko Kamikawa. The event was besides attended by the president of the Philippines, Ferdinand Marcos Junior, indicating the rank and importance of the event.
