Japanese fear engagement in conflict over Taiwan

80% of nipponese express concern that their country could become active in a US-China conflict over Taiwan, with 52% of respondents highlighting “high concerns.” 56% of those polled said that the Japan Self-Defense Forces should limit its function in the conflict. This is according to an opinion survey conducted by Asahi.
