If Europe is to gain strength, it must learn this in the east of the continent, in contact with its opponent, Russia. The defence of Ukraine is simply a geopolitical mission for many years. Without the participation of Germany and Poland, it will not win – says Janusz Reiter, erstwhile ambassador to the USA and Germany.
