Janusz Korwin-Mikke is back. He registered the batch under a meaningful name

Janusz Korwin-Mikke returns to politics. It turns out that in early September he registered a fresh organization with a meaningful name. There have already been voices of outrage and allegations of impersonation.


The Confederate, headed present by Sławomir Mentzen and Krzysztof Bosak, is doing great. According to the polls, he is the 3rd organization in terms of voter support. 16 representatives represent her in the Sejm.

Korwin-Mikke returns with a fresh party

However, as the Republic of Poland Janusz Korwin-Mikke found out, he decided to establish a organization of the same name. Let us remind that he was 1 of the founders of the "old" Confederacy, which began as "KORWIN Confederation Braun Liroy Nationalists", and later became the "Confederation of Freedom and Independence".

After the election run in 2023, Korwin-Mikke was excluded from it for "injuring the formation with his own actions". Now the politician founded a fresh "Confederation – in short KonFed", which was registered by the territory Court in Warsaw and was already in the online registry of political parties.

Although the curious individual himself confirmed these reports, he did not want to uncover details. Let us add that not long ago (after Mentzen and Bosak expelled him from the main Confederation) Korwin-Mikke created the party: Confederation of the Renewal of the Republic of Freedom and independency (KORWIN). However, it was removed from the registry due to a failure to submit the financial statements for the erstwhile year.

Now not everyone liked the fact that Korwin-Mikke founded another group with the word "Confederation" in the name. In an interview with Rzeczpospolita, MP Przemysław Wipler accused the politician of impersonating Mentzen and Bosak, who now enjoys considerable support.

– In the past, he has made many movements that have damaged our environment in different phases. However, this time it will not harm us, due to the fact that it does not have the ability to registry a letter throughout the country in elections to the Sejm. This is the organisational capacity of us, or the Confederate, or Grzegorz Braun," Wipler said.

Korwin-Mikke himself believes that as co-founder of the "old" Confederacy he has the right to this name.
