On Monday, October 23rd, under the auspices of the large East of Poland, a white gathering was held in French concerning the character Janusz Korczak. They were personally led by the Grand Master of WWP.
Two boards (Masonian papers) on the subject of Korczak were delivered – 1 by guests from the large East of Belgium (whose twelve came especially to visit places related to this large educator), and the another developed by a associate of the Synergy lodge WWP.

The gathering ended with dinner.

Janusz Korczak, actually Henryk Goldszmit (1878/1879-1942), was a Polish-Jewish doctor, educator, author and social activist. He went on to past as a pioneer in the conflict for the rights of the kid and the creator of a modern strategy of kid rearing in a spirit of respect, autonomy and democracy. Janusz Korczak was the manager of orphanages for judaic and Polish children in Warsaw. He introduced many innovative solutions, specified as children's self-government, a peer court or an orphanage newspaper. He was besides the author of many books for children and adults on educational and social topics. Janusz Korczak died in 1942 in an extermination camp in Treblinka. He refused to leave his subjects from the judaic orphanage and voluntarily went with them to the Warsaw ghetto and then to transport to Treblinka. His attitude was an expression of integrity to the ideals of humanism and love for children.

The cork belonged to the masonry. It was initiated, at the latest in 1925, in the Polish “Star of the Sea” lodge of the global Order Le Droit Humain. He was a regular associate of the distant meetings of Polish freelours and theosophers in the Manor.
