fresh Sącz celebrated the 234th anniversary of the Constitution 3 May.
The solemn celebration began Mass in the intention of Homeland in St. Margaret's Church, held under the leadership of the Preposition Basilica of Fr.Dr. Jerzy Jurkiewicz.
After a solemn service, our clubs with president Tomasz Baliczek at the head, together with hundreds of fresh judges marched to Plac 3 May with banners, representatives of parliament, city authorities, powiat, voivodship, delegations of institutions, crafts, uniform services, scouts, schools, patriotic organizations and political parties to pay tribute to Poles of the large patriotic renewal of the 18th century to the monument of Stanisław Małachowski – the last Marshal of the large Sejm, the main creator of the Constitution 3 May, the politician of the Jews.
The commemoration of the anniversary of the adoption of the first, modern fundamental law in Europe was an chance for patriotic reflection on the request for unity in an era of external threats. The men of the state of the Stanislawska day made a large effort to renew the face of the First Republic, unfortunately, as it turned out, besides late. Despite all this, the memory of this unity and national reconciliation continues in our hearts to this day and gives hope to work together for our homeland and to care for the further destiny of Poland.
