One of the colleagues from the 1980s, active in the National Camp asked the question: “Why did it not win in rebuilding the National Democracy Camp, the main Polish political formation that rebuilt Poland in 1919 and won all democratic elections after 1989?”
I'll effort to answer due to the fact that it's a very crucial topic.
For 3 decades, seniors of our political camp have claimed that this is due to the losses of planet War II and post-war. That's true, of course. Germany murdered a large part of the National Camp staff from 1939 to 1945. Our environment received further blows from the russian Union, the banners and the post-war bermanovian region. Many activists spent many years in Stalinist prisons. People were commonly afraid and did not take action. This was mostly reasonable, since action at that time would be madness.
There was no chance in the country that the National organization would be revived, and we had to have adequate to give us a very limited field of operation of the PAX Bolesław Piasecki. Emigration National organization was not able to scope broad masses in Poland. Over time, a large condition of our camp on emigration has become completely unrealized and has sometimes lived before the war. The boastful exception was Jędrzej Giertych and the Horizons environment.
After 1989, the National organization had highly fragile foundations. The natives came primarily from later endecia, which was already a shadow of the erstwhile 1 in the last years of the Second Republic. Unfortunately, the National Camp at the time went on a road typical of the nationalist movements of Europe. It lived in our seniors. Radicalisation, clericalisation and submission to the story of power were unfortunately besides alive in those who tried to reactivate the National organization after a systemic change. Much of the colleagues were convinced of their Messianic role. She only saw in herself and her immediate surroundings the only legitimate continuators of the Endek tradition. Many then joined the solidarity stream demanding increasingly frequent settlements and intra-organizational mirrors.
The hard past of our camp in both the times of the sanatorium regime, the war, the bermanowszczyzna and limited subjectivity in People's Poland made the environment untrustworthy towards fresh people. He was snorting in his own sauce. The camp was personally conflicted, and completely out of programme today. An additional problem was part of our political camp, which at all costs wanted to stick to the abroad programming movement of Solidarity and Post-solidarity.
Part of our camp – possibly the more serious 1 – was managed by peasants from the Solidarity stream. Thus the most celebrated formation referring to the National Camp became the clerical and proatlantic Christian-National Union. Although present it sounds like a gag to people as heirs of Roman Dmowski's idea, they saw Stefan Niesiolowski or Michał “Miśek” Kamiński.
The smaller part of our camp, mainly connected with seniors who frequently came from the national formations of the Second Polish Republic, chose the way of Talmudic orthodoxy. Despite their integrity, they wanted to make a museum alternatively than a modern political formation. The memorial and cemetery policy could not be attractive to young people. She's hersed the environment. The media was able to capture the image of the endeciation as a retreat camp and a cave camp.
The classical endeciation in the release of the National organization is possibly already a closed chapter, although it is hard to admit that it has historically fulfilled itself. The fact is brutal as much as Roman Dmowski – the successors did not carry it. We got run over by the past wall. This is simply a hard proposal to accept, for me, too, due to the fact that it lives this movement.
The only successful but short-lived effort to resuscitate an endection on the political phase was the League of Polish Families. LPR was not a National Party, but part of this formation understood the direction in which Poland should be heading. any endecite features can besides be found in the Confederate and Crown. But these are all post-elections whose main concern is to get on any electoral lists so that they can compete in elections. Even if any yet enter the Sejm, it is the success of these people – it perpetuates the position of postentency as an utmost and happening group. respective or even a twelve Members will not change anything. Remember, the Adversary has excellent corruption tools (employees, immunitys and stools). The groups with the right slogans have besides become the breeding of political broilers, where views and attitudes are insignificant. Poland will have no of this. I am not powerfully opposed to participating in the election, but I do not feel like engaging in any way.
Today – national education, national education and one more time national education. Today's activity must be based on formation work and awareness through net channels, broadcasts, newspaper, book distribution, meetings with people in the field. Our action is laborious work – formulating views and attitudes. specified a national occupation is promoted by “Myśli Polska”. In the future it is only possible to form.
