In 2025, state spending on key social benefits, specified as 800 plus and additional pensions (13th and 14th), will scope over 102 billion PLN. However, the think tank study CenEA indicates that only 20% of this sum is supported by the poorest people. According to the analysis, the introduction of an income criterion for the 800 plus programme could make crucial savings of up to PLN 13.4 billion.
