I read the Saturday Electoral Paper.
Marcin Matczak does not want to criticize the 10 million voters of Nawrocki, but would like to know the reasons why they vote like that, not otherwise. Not a word about teaching science.
Karolina Słowik describes Barbara Nowacka's activities as Ministry of Education. Praise for the reduced lessons of religion, the gani of Tusk, Trzaskovsky and Kosiniak for the mediocre effectiveness of introducing wellness education. Not a word about teaching science.
Kamil Fajfer worries about the condition of young men from tiny towns. Worse educated than women, they live with their parents, frustrated and vote for the Confederacy. Not a word about teaching science.
Is it truly so hard to realize that almost all the misfortunes in Poland come from the fact that mathematics/physics/chemistry/biology/geography is not an axis of teaching, but a margin.
We are discussing teaching religion, the canon of reading, and the young man does not realize how the transistor works, does not know how the engine works on hydrogen, does not know how to solder, does not know how to mill or seal the tap.
I read in Googles: "In 2025, according to the RAD-on report, students accounted for 33% of the full students at public method universities in Poland, while the overall percent of students at all universities in Poland was 58%".
Clearly, the problem is not the advanced education of women, but besides many people studying non-technical subjects.
In my view, Poland needs 80% of people with a technological education. Not necessarily higher, but besides middle. It takes people to do something useful.
