Trophy is an active vehicle protection system, utilized in combat conditions by the Israeli army since 2011 on Merkawa Mk 4, Merkawa Mk 3 tanks, dense Namer transporters and another vehicles. It's the most common solution of this kind, belonging to the hard-kill class, so physically (kinetically) fighting incoming anti-tank missiles. The usage of this strategy importantly increased the endurance of Israeli tanks, frequently operating in urbanized or mountainous saturated anti-tank agents. In practice, it enabled maneuvering even in a very hard area for armored troops, where the first violin had to play the infantry.
