The incidental occurred on 9 May at 10:28 local time. An aircraft belonging to the Bangladesh Air Force (21st Squadron "Avengers") took off for school flight from Chittagong Base. According to reports from local media, 1 of the 2 engine engines of the device caught fire immediately after the launch and crashed.
