The 200th anniversary of the death of Jacques-Louis David has late passed, almost unnoticed in Poland. This may be surprising, due to the fact that no of the another artists in the past of art has had specified a large influence on the way of reasoning about the contemporary world. And his art and views on it left their mark on subsequent generations. Even more, it is besides applicable today.
