On 9 July 2025, a contract for the acquisition of 18 three-ordinated radars for the low-flying Elta ELM-2238 Star-X was signed at the office of the Armed Forces Agency. The fresh equipment will cost a full of PLN 430 million, and so just over USD 100 million, and will be delivered from the end of 2027 and deliveries should be completed by 2023. They will let the detection of water and flying targets at the ceilings from zero to about 3 km. In this way, the mark detection system, which has so far been based on older devices (stationary NUR-23 radars) and newer radio-location devices to search higher ceilings, including Saab 340 AEW aircraft, is to be closed.
