Israeli Prime Minister Beniamin Netanyahu announced that his country would abstain from further attacks on Iranian gas fields. The decision was made after the intervention of US president Donald Trump. Netanjahu besides proposed that, after the war, the transport of gas and oil by the Strait of Ormuz be discontinued and pipelines built through the Arabian Peninsula to the ports of Israel on the Mediterranean Sea.
