Several 100 people gathered at dawn in the border kibbutz of Kfar Az to celebrate the memory of about 60 residents killed 2 years ago during the Hamas invasion. The celebrations were held precisely on the second anniversary of the attacks of October 7, 2023.
Crowds of people besides came to the site of the biggest massacre of that day - to the surrounding Kibbutz Reim, where Hamas attacked the participants of the music festival. According to authoritative records, 378 people died there.
Host Families protests
Before the houses of Israeli ministers, activists organized demonstrations, calling on politicians to conclude an agreement with Hamas as shortly as possible. The main nonsubjective of the protesters is to release 48 hostages in captivity.
According to the Israeli army, at least 20 of the kidnapped people are inactive alive. The families of the victims put force on the government, demanding intensified negotiations.
Tension at the border
Hamas launched a rocket in the border settlement of Netiw ha-Asara in the morning. The rocket struck the ground without harming anyone or causing material harm.
On Tuesday, another celebration will be held in Israel to commemorate the victims of the attack. The main celebrations organized by the victims' families were planned in Tel Aviv in the evening.
