On May 11, 2024, the 9th National Environment Pilgrimage was held on Jasna Góra. All Poles from all over the country and representatives of another national groups rushed to Jasna Góra to pay tribute to the Blessed Virgin Mary and receive her spiritual reinforcement in further work for Poland. The motto of this year's expedition to Jasna Góra Fortress was the words of St Maximilian Maria Kolbe "Love does not lie, but it is like a fire that devours everything".
The celebrations at Jasna Gora began with the retreat education in the hall of Fr Augustyn Kordecki, where we brought together the résumés of 2 crucial figures for our organization: St Maximilian Maria Kolbe and this year's patron – Zbigniew Herbert.
Kol. Marta Jarosz recited, among others, the poem "Mr. Cogito about virtue", and col. Tymon Kosiorowski presented the life and work of the poet. Then the col. Natalia Kaczyńska introduced the figure of St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe to all gathered, and the recollective teaching based on his life was given by Father Krzysztof. At the end of the first part of the pilgrimage, Kol. Piotr Walczak presented his evidence from his work for God and the Nation.
[...] But each of us besides has a work to the nation, to society. A society that's much more complicated now. And our mission is to be ready to service this nation. We wouldn't be in any situation. Father Maximilian teaches us that the saint is not a grandpa to push. The saint must be gnarly, darts, full of initiative – said Kol. Piotr.
After the lunch break there was a solemn entrance to Al. Sienkiewicz, where Litania Loretańska was sung in front of the figure of the Blessed Virgin Mary and prayer to the Queen of Poland was discussed. After honoring Jasna Góra Queen, the Wszchepolski Ultrasi-Suit Boys Ultras’22 group presented a specially prepared frame topped with the slogan “Continuation of Generation Staff”.
Then, the participants of the pilgrimage formed a column and started a solemn march from Jasna Góra mud to the courtyard of the monastery and Chapel of Our woman of Czestochowa.
During the march, the All-Polates erected storms with the symbol Szczerbc Chrobrego and with white red flags, and the full passage graced songs specified as “From the old Polish you Queen, Mary” and the slogan “Great Poland Catholic” or “Ave Christus Rex”.
Holy Mass in the Chapel of the Miraculous Image began with re-singing of songs “From old Poland you are Queen, Mary” and the authoritative welcome of pilgrims by Pauline Fathers, mentioning the quote of St John Paul II:
You must apply your ear to this holy place to feel the heart of the Nation beat in the heart of the Mother. It beats, as we know, with all the tons of history, all the sounds of living. How many times it was a moan of Polish sufferings of history, but besides with shouts of joy and victories!
During the Holy Mass, held by Bishop Krzysztof Chudzio in the Chapel of the Miracle Image, the engagement of nationalists did not weaken. Just before the Wonderful Picture, a flag spatter was created, The president of the All-Polish Youth Marcin Kowalski read the Reading Day, and Col.Zuzanna Okulska-Godek sang the psalm “You are the large glory of our nation.”
After the solemn blessing before the Image of Our woman of Czestochowa, participants of the pilgrimage returned to the Hall of Fr Augustyn Kordecki to the ceremonial academy, which began with the introduction of the banner of the All-Polish Youth, the National Movement and the Union of Soldiers of the National Armed Forces and the singing of the Young Hymn. The nationalists besides celebrated a minute of silence of priests who died this year: Fr Roman Kneblewski and Fr Tadeusz Isakowicz-Zaleski.
Participants of the pilgrimage listened to the speech of the president of the All-Polish Youth — Marcin Kowalskifollowed by the swearing-in of fresh activists. On that day, the ranks of the All-Polish Youth grew by 17 fresh members, who received the copper Szczerbce Chrobrego and swore an oath, promising a continuous work for the Nation and God.
Then, the remainder of the invited guests had the chance to give their speeches. During the academy, nationalists had the chance to hear, among others, the treasurer of the National Movement Mark Shevczyk, associate of the board Ordo Iuris Magdalena Majkowska, as well as Vice president of the Association independency March Earthly Przebitkowski. A stand was besides set up at the entrance to the hall, where there were all-Polish gadgets specified as stickers, books or posters.
After the completed academy, pilgrims took part in the Jasna Góra Appealand then formed another column, this time from the entrance gate. Among the torches and organizational and national storms, young patriots raised shouts specified as “Ave, Ave Christus Rex” and sang songs “Christ the Chief, Christ the King”. March went under the Tomb of the Unknown SoldierWhere the Appeal of the Deceases was read.
The end of the pilgrimage culminated with the luminaire prepared by the All-Polish Ultras commemorating St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe and his quote.
