On Saturday, May 16th, the 9th Pilgrimage of Families of Lost Children will be held in the sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Kraków-Łagiewniki.
– Our invitation is addressed to all families who have experienced the failure of their child, regardless of the circumstances in which it happened. We want all beloved child's death to be noticed, mourned and brought to Jesus the Merciful," says Fr Janusz Kościelniak, the diocesan pastor of the families of children lost. – A pilgrimage like this is besides an chance to announcement that in mourning after the child's death we are not alone. There are besides another families who besides bear a hard past of loss, but there is besides a Church that wants to be a safe haven for specified families and a place from which the sorrow and longing parents will draw strength and hope for the future," adds the priest.
The gathering in the Slavic basilica will begin with the prayer of the Angel of the Lord at 12 noon. Immediately after prayer there will be a celebration of the Holy Mass, which will be presided over by Fr. After the Holy Mass there will be a solemn service of entrusting the dead children to God's Mercy.
