Ivory Coast soldiers released from captivity in Mali

The Malian military junta yet released 46 Ivorians detained last summer. More precisely, according to the authoritative position of the now ruling in Mali, military leader Assimi Goita pardoned all those convicted. They were part of a contingent carrying out tasks for the UN mission and were detained in Bamako on July 10, 2022. Their arrest and conviction sparked a wave of global protests, as well as in Africa itself.
