The Italian air force purchased 5 anti-aircraft and anti-missile batteries of average scope SAMP/T NG for about EUR 700 million. It is assumed that specified a low price may consequence from the fact that the Italians are to receive batteries without rockets, which will be transferred under another, separate and aggregate contract for about EUR 2 billion.
