Italian politician criticizes Green Deal. "Use chain saw against EU regulations"

Italian politician Matteo Salvini criticised the EU's climate directives, as well as the full Green Deal programme. He acknowledged that the European Union needs improvement and cuts in administration. The leader of the Italian League Matteo Salvini appeared at a legislature of his party, where he powerfully criticized the European Green Deal. He stressed that the introduction of this programme in EU countries means the imposition of "megacla". He added that it was up to Brussels to limit the administration and programmes limiting business development.

The Minister of Infrastructure and Transport in the Government of Giorgia Meloni besides expressed the opinion that a dialog with the United States on customs was necessary.

On Saturday, a billionaire, U.S. president Donald Trump Elon Musk, addressed the League convention participants. "I hope that the US and Europe can make a very close partnership. There is already an alliance, but I hope it will be even closer and stronger," he said.

Concerning the issue of customs introduced by president Trump, Elon Musk stressed: "We will decision towards zero duties in the future, towards free exchange". "This is my hope for the future, this is the advice I gave president Trump," said Musk.
