Elbit Systems received an additional order from Airbus Helicopters to supply self-defence systems in the CH-53 GS/GE transport chopper modernisation program for the Bundeswehr. The modernized machines are intended to service German armed forces until the fresh dense helicopters are completely replaced by the Boeing CH-47F Chinook.
