Israel wants to deport families of people suspected of working with the resistance

Israel parliament Kneset, approved on 29 October this year, a bill allowing the deportation of household members of people who are suspected of attacking Jews. The bill will shortly be submitted to the second and 3rd readings and final vote. It is hard to get free of the impression that these actions are modelled on the Stalinist cleansings of Polish Kresów in 1940.

Israel wants to deport families of people suspected of working with the resistance. Under the proposed bill, the Minister of Interior of the judaic government will be able to order the deportation of members of the militant household for free Palestine if they knew about his engagement in the opposition movement and expressed support for independent Palestine.

If the militant is simply a citizen of Israel, members of his household can be deported for 7 years. However, if the attacker comes from occupied Palestinian territories, the deportation period may extend to 10 years.

Similar actions based on the rule of collective work were applied by the Stalinist government to the Polish Kresów population, the criterion being the origin of families whose members worked in the Polish administration or services. Preparations for forced deportation of Poles from Kresów began shortly after the end of the 1939 defensive war. The expanded authoritative and police apparatus worked very smoothly and carried out extended reconnaissance in areas occupied after 17 September. As a result, the NKVD's leadership presented the names of “enemies of the working people”.

In the fall of 1939 The Soviets knew precisely who and where to look. The search for people that will be any kind of uncertain component in the future, at least according to the Soviets, has begun. They were people who could, would have the strength and the ability to reproduce any kind of social, national and state tissue. These are people around whom 1 could focus, around whom 1 could conduct any activity, of course in hiding, specified as secret teaching or cultivating national traditions.

On 2 December 1939, NKVD chief Lavrientij Beria sent a letter to Józef Stalin, in which he stated that it was essential to immediately export Polish families from the western districts of Ukrainian SRS and Belarusian SRS. On December 4, 1939, the draft deportation approved the Political Office of the Central Committee of the All-Union organization of the Bolsheviks, and the decision to implement the Beria plan was sealed by a resolution of the Council of National Commissioners of the USSR.

At the turn of December 1939 and January 1940, forest workers and their household were added to the proscription letter, as foresters, well versed in forest geography, were considered to be able to aid with their cognition of the possible opposition movement. Physical elimination of as many Poles as possible from areas occupied by the USSR was part of the russian war doctrine – especially since deportation frequently meant death for displaced people. Similarly, in the case of Palestinians, in particular, the judaic government has banned UNWRA and regularly bombed exile camps.

The deportation action began early on February 10, 1940. amazing residents had 2 hours to pack up to 500 kilos of property – in practice, however, they were frequently driven out much faster, not allowing them to take many essential items. Due to incomplete data and gaps in the documentation, it is impossible to find precisely the number of people exported from Kresów in February 1940. It is assumed that in rounding it was from 140 1000 to 141 1000 settlers, in the vast majority of Poles. This helped to replace cultural Polish Kresów with Russian and Russian people.

OUR COMMENTS: Accepting the rule of collective work is typical of totalitarian government policies.
