The war in the Gaza Strip has been going on for more than 8 months, but peace is inactive not seen on the horizon, and fresh events propose that shortly the war may besides knock on the doors of the people of confederate Lebanon, where a long-standing exchange of blows has been taking place between the Israeli army and Hezbollah. Israeli command has already approved an operational plan in case of possible invasion of Lebanon. Additional units of the Israeli army are headed to the border, and defence minister Joaw Gallant threatens to be returned to the stone age. Prime Minister Netanjahu claims to want to avoid war, but at the same time has demonstrated that Israel is ready to fight on many fronts and will meet all challenge. In the face of these threats, however, the Lebanese Hezbollah remains steadfast, and its leader, Hassan Nasrallah, thunders that in the event of war, no place in Israel will be safe, and the fighters of Hezbollah will fight the Zionist enemy on land, at sea and in the air.
