Israel is preparing for war? The defence budget will increase by a third

The Israeli Ministry of Defence and Finance agreed to increase the defence budget for the years 2025–26 by about a third. The biggest increase in years has been forced by parallel military operations in the Gaza Strip, Lebanon, Iran and Syria, which have resulted in a crucial overshoot of budgetary assumptions.
