Israel is halting its offensive in Gaza. The military is moving to defensive operations

The Israeli military has been ordered to halt offensive operations in Gaza City, reports the Times of Israel. The army is changing tactics, moving to defensive operations throughout the Gaza Strip. Despite this change, the Palestinian civilian defence reports dozens of fresh attacks, and an Israeli army spokesperson warns residents: returning to Gaza City is inactive a "very dangerous combat zone." Meanwhile, Hamas has accepted any points of the peace plan proposed by US president Donald Trump.
