On Monday, Israel opened a border crossing between Gaza and Egypt in Rafah. Now the Palestinians can freely leave the enclave crossing the border with Egypt, and they can return to the Gaza Strip from Egypt. The beginning of the Rafah border crossing point means that the US peace plan for Gaza is entering a second stage.
