According to the latest CSO data in July 2024, the number of births, calculated year-on-year, decreased from 24.1 1000 in Poland to 235,000. In the last 12 months, 259.1 1000 people have been born in our country and 407,000 have died.

It is actual that we have a minimum correction compared to May, erstwhile 21,000 children and June were born, erstwhile only 19,000 children were born. However, specified fluctuations in the downward trend have already occurred many times on a slippery slope, after which we as a nation slide.

What is the consequence of this process? Many ingredients, of course. Although any politicians and commentators persist in saying that it is about nursery, housing, and various material state support for young people. Paraphrasing Prime Minister Donald Tusk's well-known sentence, I will write: “He does not underestimate it”, but it should be more and more apparent that spells with insufficient material conditions can be inserted between fairy tales.

Even considering that our culture puts advanced demands on childcare, and this costs money, 1 must face hard reality – Poles gain en masse best in past and at the same time spend the least in the past of offspring.

Someone may have hoped that the declarations of many women who said they were not born due to the fact that they ruled by the Law and Justice would prove to be serious words. There may be women who have decided to have a kid due to Donald Tusk, but on a national scale, it's most likely a fraction of what they need.

Of course, many of these women can say that nothing has changed with respect to the law in force. Therefore, if they cannot freely kill their conceived kid – if he wanted to, they besides do not intend to conceive it.

They're all phrasing the facts. In countries like the United Kingdom, more children are killed all year than in Poland. Free access to abortion in our country would be another step towards a more complete masculinisation of women who, let us not deceive themselves, simply do not want to be born. They want to be as efficient as men and accomplish the same goals as they do. The fertility rate of 1.1 children per female tells everything about this phenomenon.

Where did this come from? surely from an economical strategy that promoted childlessness by expecting full availability of workers and to which the state did not respond. besides with the constant promotion of material culture of success and media disgust of household life and parenthood. Articles on this subject, clearly propaganda, can be found on large portals all day.

In addition, the aspiration gap between women and men increases – men are more likely to go to work than to gain formal education, and women fall into class-class superiority syndrome over their peers, as shortly as they get a bachelor's degree and work in a larger city.

How could we start rebuilding demography in Poland without expanding immigration? It's a very hard task. It would require effort in many fields of social life. And no of these efforts would mean anything on their own, only all together could, perhaps, make a difference. What kind of imagined government decides to make specified an effort? Today's answer is simple – none.
