Can people be slandered?

myslpolska.info 1 year ago

Everyone will say no, due to the fact that moral principles and the law defend the good name of all man. Unfortunately, we have late faced the phenomenon that part of a society that professes political views of the mainstream is condemning people who think themselves out of exile.

Mainstreamers think they can do anything. Anyone who doesn't love very much Volodymyr Zelensky, call him a Russian troll and 1 who has a different concept of our east politics – a Russian spy.

Fortunately, it turns out that erstwhile a defamed individual gains his rights, the defaming individual at least publically apologizes. As in the case of Tuba Wyszkow portal, whose editorial board apologized to you on September 11, 2023 Ewa Bartosiewicz, councillor of the Vyszkowski territory and legal advisor.

In March 2022, Tuba Wyszkowa claimed that Mrs. Eve was creating a "counterintelligence threat". The most pathetic thing about this case is that the blunt propaganda of the portal struck a individual who had nothing to do with the mainstream critics. As you can see, anyone can become a victim of the modern “inquisition”. I'll just say why I'm writing about it. I live in Wyszków and more than a year and a half ago, erstwhile Virtual Poland and another titles, including Tuba Wyszkowa, launched an attack on the organizers of the First Lady's gathering with refugees in Brańszczyk, and in peculiar on Matthew Piskorski, who acted as an interpreter and volunteer there, I extensively discussed this subject on social media. At that time I condemned clearly the shameful behaviour of journalists. An additional reason is the fact that Tuba Wyszkowa under apology turned off the anticipation of commenting. This must be commented on, so I quote the full text of apology.

"The Tuba Wyszkowa Portal edition apologizes to Ewa Bartosziewicz for false information published about it in articles published on 14 and 17 March 2022 on the portal and on the Facebook page. The editorial states that the suggestions in the articles about the alleged “counterintelligence threat” were not based on facts and origin material.

The another wording that puts Mrs. Ewa Bartosziewicz in the light of the breach of the trust essential for the exercise of her mandate as a territory councillor and as a legal advisor was utilized as a consequence of the failure to respect the principles of journalistic integrity, the deficiency of proof of sources and the deficiency of impartiality.

Elwira Czechowska’.

This standard expression of failure to respect the principles of journalistic integrity, impartiality, or sources "from their own imagination", is correct from a formal and legal point of view, and should be passed on to the agenda, everyone is entitled to error. But in this case, in fact, the phenomenon, it's not that mistake. It is simply a mistake of conformism and of joining a fresh “religion” which, in anyone who disagrees with authoritative propaganda, sees a “ruskie-spoiled”. Propaganda, which in most cases is simply a flush of Ukrainian or American propaganda.

In the area of our widely understood abroad policy, “the believers of the fresh religion” are exempt by the advanced priests from integrity and impartiality, for it is these “hierarchs” who tell the faithful what is fact and what is false. No one's worried about any law. To call individual a spy, you don't request a court verdict, you just request a "hierarch" opinion. Poland is drowning in the pulpit of neo-makkartism and Stalinism. I look forward to it when, for example, Virtual Poland (co-involved in this peculiar confusion) discovers a conspiracy of waterworks workers who wanted to join the Podlasie to Belarus.

I am describing this case not to lash out at another excellent local medium, but to guarantee that public people do not express opinions under the influence of collective delusions, only in accordance with the law in force in Poland and on the basis of confirmed facts. This text is besides intended to show the defamed that they can and should assert their rights and not necessarily halt at apologies.

When a local journalist, social activist or average citizen pays in the majesty of the law 10, 20 or e.g. 50 1000 PLN compensation, this will be a very effective remedy for many people's delusions. It is besides worth noting that the people from the tops of power who make this psychosis for their "I wonder how much did you get for these lies in rubles?" will most likely not be held responsible. But their followers can pay a lot for akin questions.
