Is Europe's energy safety an illusion?

Europe's energy safety sounds proud, doesn't it? In practice, the situation on the continent resembles a geopolitical chessboard in which everyone juggles with barrels of oil, and individual “or by chance” puts his leg under RES or under LNG lines. Even if it happens far from our borders, we feel the consequences immediately due to the fact that it straight affects our welfare.
