According to Pollster's latest poll for tv Republic, if elections took place next Sunday, a smiling coalition could lose power. According to the station portal, in the survey “most have Law and Justice and the Confederation”.
Although Confederate politicians consistently deny the anticipation of a coalition with the Law and Justice, speculation and suggestions on this subject are regularly emerging in the media. This time tv Republic, analyzing the results of the fresh poll, announced that these 2 parties have a majority.
The survey shows that the largest number of respondents – 33 percent – indicated the Civic Coalition. That means Donald Tusk's organization could get 162 seats in the Sejm.
A somewhat lower consequence is achieved by the PiS, which would like to vote 31 percent of respondents. This means that the formation of Jarosław Kaczyński could number on 152 tickets.
Traditionally, the last place on the podium is the Confederate, which would gain the support of 17 percent of voters. In that case, the centre-right formation would have 83 seats in parliament.
How easy to calculate, the Law and the Confederation could theoretically form a government with 235 votes. However, this is not a crucial advantage over possible opposition.
The 3rd Road, which is simply a coalition of Poland 2050 and the Polish People's Party, with the support of 9% of the respondents, and the Left, would like to vote for 5 percent.
Such results would give 39 seats in the Parliament of the coalition formation of Szymon Holownia and Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and 24 mandates for utmost leftist groups.
In the case of specified results, the Confederation could decide whether it wants to form a government from the KO or from the Law and Justice. Without the support of the parties of Sławomir Mentzen and Krzysztof Bosak, it would be impossible to make a majority unless there was an alliance between Kaczyński and Tusk to block the Confederacy.
